With the firestorm Anne Hathaway unleashed when she attempted a Yorkshire accent in "One Day," it got us thinking -- how would the Yorkshire dialect feel about it?
Based on how the dialect chooses to express itself, it doesn't take life too seriously and would have a laugh about the whole thing. At least that's what we gather from the turns of phrases Tykes (that's Yorkshire for Yorkshire person) have engrained in the language, which have both a crude sense of humor and a poetic touch.
