Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center, located in Portsmouth, VA is growing and is in need of a Licensed Therapist to provide psychotherapy services for youth, adolescents and their families; complete Bio-psychosocial evaluations, risk and psychological assessments as appropriate; maintain all documentation according to facility guidelines to include progress notes, case management and individualized service plans; attend all treatment teams for assigned residents; attend weekly clinical supervision; provide clinical support/training for mental health techs; complete all progress notes and submit billing slips day of service; complete psychosocial assessment within 7 days of admission; complete clinical formulations prior to the development of the Master ISP; complete individualized service plans within 24 hours of treatment team meeting; weekend coverage on a rotating basis and other duties as assigned based on the needs of the facility.

Qualifications: An individual must be able to perform each Essential Function of the job satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities, who are otherwise qualified to perform the Essential Functions. A combination of mental health experience and relevant education to deliver psychotherapy services to consumers. The required knowledge, skills, and abilities must be documented and observable in the application form and interview, and can be verified by additional references.
Education: Master's Degree in human services field i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education
Licensure/Certification: Licensed as a LPC, LCSW or LCP in the state of Virginia or has recieved a letter from the Board approving supervision and license eligible.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with appropriate populations.
