Coventry University College Ltd offers a new approach to teaching and learning in higher education. A wholly owned subsidiary of Coventry University, but a separate and distinct offer, we will deliver a range of vocationally relevant higher education courses as well as a portfolio of professional qualifications through face to face and online learning methods. With our first intake this September, our innovative approach is designed to provide a high quality education, with an emphasis on excellent teaching and learning, at a competitive price. We?re now looking for experienced teaching staff, who share our passion for high quality education, to be part of this exciting new venture.
Taking responsibility for the development and delivery of teaching and learning materials, you will be involved in curriculum development and will be able to demonstrate good practice in teaching, learning and assessment that is consistent with our aspirations to become a high quality provider. Working on classroom and online learning environments, you will need to have a successful track record of supporting student success and will be at least degree level qualified (or equivalent), preferably with a teaching qualification or a willingness to acquire one. To assist the college in its engagement with local employers, experience of successful professional networking would be advantageous.
We are currently seeking a tutor who has experience in teaching chemistry across a breadth of health and life sciences areas, preferably in a HE environment.?With a relevant Masters qualification or a good honours degree and equivalent professional practice, you will need to be an active member of a relevant professional body and a PhD in Chemistry or related area would be advantageous.
